See Prince William and Kate Middleton’s reaction to awkward Prince Andrew joke made by Rebel Wilson at BAFTAs (video)

Rebel Wilson boldly made jokes about Prince Andrew right in front of his nephew Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton at last night’s Baftas 2020 which held in the Royal Albert Hall.

Handing out the award to the all-male Best Director category, the actress said: “Good evening distinguished guests and those who don’t identify as that. It is really great to be here at the Royal Andrew… Royal Harry… Royal Phillip… this royal palace place.”

Prince William and Kate Middleton were just meters away and the cameras zoomed in on them. Despite huge laughs from the A-listers in attendance, the royals barely forced a smile.

Their reaction to Rebel’s joke about Prince Andrew – who has received heat for his link to convicted paedophile Jefferey Epstein – was a far cry from their reaction when Margot Robbie made a joke about Prince Harry while delivering a speech on behalf of Brad Pitt (read here).

Viewers took to Twitter to react to William and Kate’s straight face after the joke was made. Some praised the royal couple for keeping their cool, others called out Rebel and said her joke was out of place.
