Drake has announced his highly anticipated new album, “Certified Lover Boy” will drop on Friday, August 3. Certified Lover Boy will be the 34-year-old’s sixth studio album.
The Canadian rapper made the announcement in a social media post on Monday just a day after his long-time rival, Kanye West released his new album, Donda.
‘CERTIFIED LOVER BOY SEPTEMBER 3,’ Drake wrote in an Instagram caption.
His post included an image of 12 pregnant women emojis in all different skin tones.
The announcement means both Drake and rival Kanye West will battle it out on the music charts with their new albums as they will be released just about a week apart.
