Debo Adedayo, Nigerian comedian better known as Mr Macaroni, has called out the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) after its officials were seen assaulting a comedian in a viral video.
In the short clip, the victim, an Instagram comedian known as D-General, appeared to be challenging the NDLEA officials for invading his house while also filming the incident.
But one of the officials had asked him to stop the video, claiming the comedian had no right to film them.
The man, however, insisted on filming the incident, a development which made the NDLEA officials to attack the man.
In a video of the incident shared on Twitter, Adedayo said it is unfortunate that the NDLEA now enters people’s home to harrass and oppress them.
He wrote, “NDLEA!!! OLEEE!!! Barawoooo!!!! So you people’s work is to be entering people’s houses in the middle of the night to be beating and harassing citizens. This is happening right now. We don’t know where they have taken him to. Oppressors everywhere!!!”
