A Kenyan man, Alex Likodo has been found dead after reportedly killing his lover identified as Mebo Ayuma at their apartment in Pakawa, Pipeline in Nakuru County.
Caretaker of the apartment the co-habiting couple lived in, Ms Agnes Muthoni recalled witnessing a heated argument between the couple on Sunday February 2. She said after the couple quarelled Ayuma slept out, and that was the last time she saw her.
Ayuma’s mother, Ruth Anyenda who travelled to see her daughter who missed her calls found the apartment locked. Policemen from Pakawa Police Station found a horrible scene upon entering the apartment on Wednesday February 5, following a complaint made by Anyenda. Ayuma was found lying on the bed with visible marks on the face and neck.
It was further learnt that Likodo’s corpse was found in a forest in Elburgon, in an apparent suicide scene. Ayuma’s body has been taken to Nakuru Municipal Mortuary as the police has already commenced an investigation into the incident.
