Real Madrid have reportedly concluded plans to slash the wages of their players due to the outbreak of deadly coronavirus.
Los Blancos are following the steps of their rival Barcelona who already reached an agreement with their players to cut their salaries by 70 percent.
The Catalans captain Lionel Messi was said to have announced that he and his teammates have no problem with that idea.
This new development will, however, have a major impact on Eden Hazard who earns a staggering £400,000-a-week pay.

According to SunSport, Real president Florentino Perez had earlier ruled out the option of cutting his players’ salaries.
Meanwhile, with no money coming from the TV deal and other advertising channels, the club would not be able to muscle their way through this trying time.

Messi and his Barcelona teammates have taken it upon themselves to donate 70 percent of their salaries to help pay their coaching staff in full.
