A 15-year-old girl identified as Ummi Garba, has committed suicide by consuming rat poison in Gwaram Local Government Area of Jigawa.
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the state police command, SP Abdu Jinjiri, said the incident happened on April 4th at Kofar Gabas quarters. Jinjiri said the deceased had told everyone that she was no longer interested in living and then took her life.
“Investigation showed that the deceased said she was no more interested in living in the world. The case is under investigation” he said
