The Anambra government has closed the state’s section of the River Niger Bridge by mounting a giant gate at the spot.
The act has reportedly left many stranded as seen in a video which went viral after being shared online.
It is speculated that the state government took to decision to stop violators of the inter-state travel ban due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
