Texans’ Fuller banned 6 games under PED policy

Houston Texans wide receiver Will Fuller V has been suspended six games for violating the NFL’s Policy on Performance Enhancing Substances, he said Monday in a post on Instagram.

Fuller said the violation was a result of taking prescribed medication not permitted under the policy.

“I want to sincerely apologize to the Texans organization and all of my fans for this mistake. I am looking forward to putting this all behind me and returning better than ever in 2021,” Fuller said in the post.

The Texans have only five games remaining in the regular season and, at 4-7 and third in the AFC South, are unlikely to make the postseason.

Fuller has 53 receptions for 879 yards and 8 touchdowns this season, tied for sixth in the NFL.
