Isreal Afeare, who is one of Davido’s aides, has apologized for the allegations he made, claiming DJ Cuppy is a fake friend and never paid Zlatan a dime after they collaborated to make the hit song Gelato.
It had all started after DJ Cuppy took to Twitter to reveal that Zlatan had blocked her on all platforms 10 months after they released Gelato.
Zlatan later reacted during an interview by claiming he doesn’t know who Cuppy is, despite releasing a song with her.
The public was ignorant of the cause of Zlatan’s change in behaviour until Israel Afeara took to his Instagram stories to claim Zlatan never made “ordinary one kobo” from the collaboration.
DJ Cuppy, whose real name is Florence Otedola, responded with legal proceedings against Isreal (read here).
Isreal has now backtracked. In a video, he apologized for the claim he made via his Instagram Stories and promised to never make such claims.
He also admitted in a statement that the claims were false.
