A former member of Lagos State House of Assembly, Amuwo Odofin constituency 1 and former commissioner, Honourable Risikat Adejoke Adegeye, has passed on.
Risikat was one of the wives of Nigerian legendary singer, Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye, more commonly called King Sunny Ade, who has been ruling the Nigerian airwaves since the 1970s with his songs.
Details of Risikat’s death are still sketchy as at the time of filing in this report.
She reportedly died in the early hours of Tuesday.
Risikat’s marriage to the juju king is blessed with six sons.
She sometimes ago revealed in an interview that she had always loved King Sunny Ade, even before meeting him.
