When 28-year-old Sri Lankan singer Yohani released her song ‘Manike Mage Hithe’ in May, she had no idea it would travel all the way to India, turning her into an overnight sensation.
Not only is the song is breaking the internet – with more than 100 million views – the catchy tune has also inspired countless covers in regional Indian languages.
And it has also got some of Bollywood’s biggest names grooving to the tune.
