COVID-19: Nigeria’s Anti-graft Agency, EFCC Denies Unvaccinated Employees, Visitors Entry Into Offices

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), on Monday, prevented unvaccinated staff members from accessing its headquarters in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Some months ago, the Nigerian government announced that workers yet to receive the COVID-19 vaccine would be denied access into government offices from December 1.

On Monday, December 13, security operatives stopped civil servants and the general public without proof of COVID-19 vaccination and negative PCR tests from accessing the headquarters of the anti-corruption agency in Abuja.

Meanwhile, the country is witnessing fresh fears regarding the COVID-19 pandemic with the spread of the new Omicron variant.
