Two Killed As Rival Cults Clash In Lagos Island

Two persons have reportedly been killed during a clash between rival gangsters in the Idumota area of Lagos State.
According to Punch, the clash which started on Thursday evening degenerated into Friday morning leading to the death of the victims.

It was gathered that clash involved hoodlums from Idumota, Balogun, Martins and Oluwole areas of Lagos Island.
It also affected trading and other commercial activities on the Island on Friday.
The hoodlums reportedly shot sporadically into different directions as they displayed assorted arms and ammunition.
Some shops were also said to have been shut down but security agencies on ground assured market men and women to open their shops.
But they only mounted positions to forestall any form of resurgence of violence or hoodlums returning to take advantage of the situation.
