A Catholic seminarian died just days before his diaconate ordination – the last step before becoming a priest. Hillary Tobechukwu Eze, a seminarian of the Nsukka Catholic Diocese, was supposed to be ordained a deacon on 23rd December 2023. 
Sadly, he died on Friday, Dec. 15, in a motor accident. The deceased was an indigene of Ehalumona town in Nsukka Local Government Area of Enugu State. 
He was going with his mates for their retreat in preparation for the ordination when he had an accident and died on the spot. A few days leading to his death, he made a post on his Facebook page about going somewhere. He wrote, I sincerely do not understand where I am heading to but I am rushing to that place. Why? Jesus is the one leading the way.
