A woman has shared the injuries allegedly inflicted on her friend by the husband in Lagos. The husband reportedly beat up his wife because she went to borrow pencil to help with their daughter’s assignment. The act angered the husband and he asked his wife if she couldn’t buy a pencil for their child. The wife said, in chats shared with her friend, that when she tried to explain to her husabnd, he attacked her. The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency has reached out to the friend on Twitter to intervene in the domestic violence case.
