My dad disowned me couple of times – Seyi Awolowo shares experience growing up in a polygamous home (video)

Big Brother Naija reality star, Seyi Awolowo has opened up about his challenging childhood experiences. Seyi, who is the grandson of the late Nigerian nationalist Obafemi Awolowo, spoke in an interview with Chude Jideonwo. He disclosed that his father disowned him multiple times due to the complexities of growing up in a polygamous family. Seyi said his father had three wives and kept detailed files on each of his children, reducing their identities to mere names on a list. He recalled his father writing letters to cut off his children, leaving them feeling disconnected and unloved. “My dad disowned me a couple of times. Not just me, a couple of us, my dad married more than one wife. He married three wives. We all have files. As of right now, your name is just Seyi, full stop,” he said. See below. Today, it’s Seyi Awolowo. For the full version, go to https://t.co/OC56JIkeon or https://t.co/mYlMblo8bx NOW!#WithChude#MindHeartSpirit#LetsBeHumanTogetherHave any issues with your subscription?
