Police arrest man captured on CCTV stealing phone at eatery

Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) from the Lagos State Police Command have apprehended a man identified as Ifeanyi Okonkwo after he was captured on the Close Circuit Television (CCTV) stealing a phone at an eatery on Kafi Street in the Alausa area of Ikeja. According to a post from the official X handle of the RRS, the suspect was nabbed when he returned to the restaurant a month after he stole the device. The suspect Ifeanyi Okonkwo, on November 7, 2024, was at the restaurant to purchase food but ended up stealing a Samsung A15 mobile belonging to another customer.
