This horrific display of mob injustice, which took place during the holy month of Ramadan, has left us deeply saddened and disturbed.

The tragic consequences of mob actions have taken the lives of too many innocent Nigerians and can no longer be tolerated.

In light of this tragedy, we demand that the Nigerian authorities take immediate and decisive action against those responsible for inciting such violence and perpetrating this heinous crime.

It is crucial that justice be served not only for the victims and their grieving families but also to restore faith in our justice system and reinforce the rule of law against the lawlessness of a mob.
