On-air personality Roby Ekpo has sparked a conversation online after questioning how some guests secure invitations to the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCAs).
In his words:
“I keep asking this question, how do people get invitations to the AMVCAs? Cos, how can someone that doesn’t have any talent dress up like a banana?”
His post adds to the growing criticism of the event’s fashion focus, with many questioning the relevance of some appearances on the prestigious red carpet.
