At least 24 people have died and dozens of people are missing amid flash floods in Texas on Independence Day, according to US authorities.
“Within 45 minutes, the Guadalupe River rose 26 feet and it was a destructive flood,” Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick said.
Footage from the state shows the destruction caused by surging waters.
