Zamfara LG chairman breaks down in tears during burial of five security operatives and two civilians k!lled by bandits

The Chairman of Talata Mafara Local Government Area of Zamfara State, Hon Yahaya Yari burst into tears during the burial of seven people k!lled by bandits in Jangebe town.

LIB reported that bandits k!lled five members of the Community Protection Guard (CPG) and two civilians in a deadly attack on the community on Friday afternoon, July 18. 

Speaking during the funeral, the LG boss expressed frustration over the security operatives failure to prevent the killings despite allegedly receiving warnings of imminent attack.
