A Nigerian man, Shamseddin Giwa, has taken a dig at the “hypocrisy” of second wives who don’t want their husbands to marry third wives.
“And while we are on it, what bigger hypocrisy exists than going in to be a second wife to another woman (at that point you cite Islam) but when your husband decided to bring in a third wife (as permitted in Islam), you begin to fight him and try to block her?,” he wrote.
