The Irishman Whiskey, a premium expression of Walsh Whiskey from Ireland, made its official Nigerian debut with an exclusive tasting dinner at Vici Lagos. The evening brought together a select circle of cultural tastemakers, entertainers, and trade partners to experience the rich, smooth character of the award-winning Irish whiskey.
Guests were treated to a guided tasting session led by Global Brand Ambassador James Kilgannon, who shared the remarkable journey of Irish whiskey from its proud heritage to its revival in modern times. He drew parallels between Irish and Nigerian cultures, highlighting a shared spirit of warmth, hospitality, and storytelling.
The event attracted notable personalities including actor Deyemi Okanlawon, Aduke Shitta-Bey, Ezinne Akudo, Taymesan, Kene Okonkwo, Moses Ebite, Efe Tommy, Nimi Briggs, and Beauty Tukura, alongside industry trade partners who were among the first to raise a glass to The Irishman’s arrival in Nigeria.
