A Nigerian lady, Romoke Adunbarin Lasisi, has shared her remarkable journey from a cleaner to a first class graduate.

She got admitted to the university in September 2021 to study Mathematics.

Over the years, she also took data analysis and science courses.

In a post on Saturday, August 16, 2025 she provided insight on how she went from being a cleaner to a graduate and data scientist.

“First-Class Mathematics Graduate. Passionate Data Scientist. Volunteered Tutor for Data Analysis with Python in my department. Co-Founder & Volunteer Data Tutor at The Emerging Minds Foundation. Data Science Tutor at the CSA Africa Workshop, University of Nairobi,” she wrote.

“All I had was hope and the belief that with God, everything gets better with time,” she added.
