A Nigerian woman, Progress Okuk, has shared a heartwarming video of her mother leaving the hospital with a walker and a beautiful smile, describing the moment as the best Christmas gift.
“I have watched this video, probably, a million times. The feeling of gratitude, for the blessing of life is unending; watching my mother walk out of this hospital, with her two legs, wearing the most beautiful smile ever,” she wrote.
I feel victory. My best Christmas gift.
I asked one of the nurses if she was traveling for the holidays, she laughed and replied that she will be on “duty” on Christmas Day.
I am grateful for the gift of medical science. And to all the Doctors and nurses across the world, who will be working tirelessly to ensure that lives are saved…..THANK YOU. Merry Christmas.”
