Beyonce delivered an emotional rendition of “XO” and “Halo” at Kobe Bryant and Gigi’s farewell ceremony.
Kobe Bryant and Gigi’s farewell ceremony is currently taking place at the Staples Center and Beyonce took to the stage to open the memorial event.
Wearing a marigold-colored pant suit, the singer delivered a moving rendition of her hit song XO after giving a short speech saying the song was Kobe’s favorite.
“I’m here because I love Kobe, and this was one of his favorite songs,” she said after singing the first line, before beginning again. “So I want to start that over, but I want us to do it all together. I want us to sing it so loud that we hear the love.”
The singer then transitioned into “Halo.”
