A woman escaped unharmed after a heavy breeze blew off her window and part of her wall as she tried to sleep.
The woman, who lives in Ikorodu, said she was feeling restless and unable to sleep when at about 1am it started raining and “lightening entered” her eyes. She said she also felt sand on her body and she heard a sound.
She said she stood up “shouting” and soon noticed that part of her wall, mosquito net, and window had been destroyed by the heavy winds.
