Some gunmen have kidnapped the Ekiti State Commissioner for Agriculture, Folorunso Olabode.
A councillor and leader in Ilejemeje Local Government Area of the state, Olatunji Omotosho, who was with him was shot dead on the spot.
SaharaReporters gathered that the incident took place between Is an and Iludun-Ekiti area of the state. 
Isan is the hometown of Governor Kayode Fayemi.
A security source, who spoke with SaharaReporters, said they were attacked by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
