An unidentified hiker on Saturday died after falling from a mountain in Kubwa, a suburb of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The incident took place at one of the mountains in the residential district located in Bwari Area Council when the leg of the hiker slipped and he fell to the ground.

SaharaReporters gathered that the yet-to-be identified man was rushed to Kubwa General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Details of the incident are sketchy but a video in circulation on social media captured the moment when the deceased’s co-hikers were trying to move him to a hospital.
