Bayelsa Government Lifts Ban On Churches, Mosques, Urges Adherence To Safety Measures

Religious organisations in Bayelsa State are now free to hold mid-week services, an order by Governor Douye Diri said on Tuesday.

The governor while handing down the directive also urged religious leaders to continue to maintain all existing COVID-19 protocols during worship as the pandemic was far from over.

Bayelsa State currently has 339 confirmed cases of the virus out of which 21 persons have died.
