Two female gun runners arrested in Nasarawa

Two female suspects, Rashida Umar and Rukaiya Ladan, have been arrested in Nasarawa State for allegedly supplying arms to bandits.  The women were arrested at 177 Gds Bn CP in Akwanga following credible intel on the movement of some suspects trafficking arms moving from Fadan Karshe in Sanga LGA of the state towards Akwanga. Over 1,000 x rounds of 7.62mm x 39mm special ammunition were recovered from the suspects. The suspects were said to be on their way to deliver the ammunition to a yet- to-be identified arms dealer in Kontagora, Niger State. The suspects and recovered ammunition were handed over to the Department of State Services (DSS) for further investigation and necessary action.   The post Two female gun runners arrested in Nasarawa appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
