According to an X user named Abdulrahmam Sanusi, Hajiya Garu shared a bunch of sugar cane to members of her constituency. A photo shared online shows Hajiya Garu holding the sugar cane bunches while posing for photos. After the photo was publicised, Nigerians found it laughable and questioned how sugar cane would empower the community.
