Octomom was surrounded by her octuplets when she rang in the big 5-0.
Natalie “Nadya” Suleman—who earned the nickname after giving birth to the first surviving set of octuplets in 2009—celebrated her birthday on July 11 with her 16-year-old kids Noah, Maliyah, Isaiah, Nariyah, Makai, Josiah, Jeremiah and Jonah.
Sharing a photo of herself and with her youngest children, the Confessions of Octomom star wrote on Instagram July 12, “Couldn’t imagine spending my birthday anywhere but home, surrounded by loved ones. Thank you kids for making this day so special.”
Suleman—who is also mom to kids to Elijah, 24, Amerah, 23, Joshua, 21, and Aidan, 20, and 18-year-old twins Caleb and Calyssa—went on to note that her six eldest children were “not in the photo per usual” since they prefer to live outside the spotlight, though they did mark the momentous occasion by giving her “unique gifts.”
