A Twitter user has narrated an incident that made her run away from a potential suitor.
She said she had been at the talking stage with the man and they had also met in person. However, she ran from him when he told her he was going to withdraw his last 2,000 Naira.
She said she stopped picking his calls after that. She added that she isn’t after his money but that her standard is above that.
She tweeted: “Sometime last year, I met this good looking young man and we are were in the talking stage, seen him about twice afterwards, one evening we were talking over the phone when he told me he was going to withdraw his last 2k, Fam! I ran for my life…
“I never picked his calls again, but I reply his WhatsApp messages once in while, I’m not even looking for money from him, By God’s special grace, My standard is way above that…I’m talking of my own money please.”
