Top Nigerian comedian, Alibaba, has taken to social media to react to a trending video of controversial Nigerian prophet, Chukwuemeka Odumeje, making a declaration about the dreaded coronavirus also known as COVID-19.
In the video, the man of God is heard stating the virus will be gone in April. This did not sit well with Alibaba who shared the video on his page, condemning pastors like Odumeje. He also called on the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) to do something about such pastors.
He wrote: “Can C.A.N… please can people like these? These kind of people cause more damage to Christendom than even people who dont believe in God. Someone will now say “Touch not my anointed and do my profits no harm” Nonsense”

Meanwhile, a top pastor in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city, was on Sunday, March 29, arrested by the Federal Capital Territory enforcement team for flouting government order over coronavirus. The clergyman, whose name was given as Pastor U Uden, was said to have flouted the directive that all worship centres including churches and mosques be shut.
The enforcement team led by Ikharo Attah stormed the big church while service was ongoing. Attah reminded the pastor of some biblical portions which proved that the clergyman had done wrong by not obeying the authorities.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian pastor identified as Talknado has held a service this Sunday, March 22, talking to his congregation about the coronavirus pandemic.
The pastor claims that the virus has not entered Nigeria because it cannot survive in the country. In a video now circulating social media, the man of God was heard saying that the virus does not stand a chance against Nigeria’s corrosive anointing. He said once the virus enters Nigeria it would stop all over the world.
