Former Minister of Finance, Senator Nenadi Usman, has lost her husband, Sa’ad Usman. Usman was the Finance Minister during the Obasanjo administration.
The deceased who until his death was the Emir of Jere, Kaduna State, died today April 1st.
Younger brother of the late emir, Aminu Jere, announced the passage of the monarch on Wednesday.
“I just lost a brother in person of HRH the Sarkin Jere, Dr Saad Usman, PhD,” he wrote
The deceased was at various times the Secretary of the Kaduna State Government. The late monarch had been hospitalised in London following injuries he got during a scuffle between him and locals over land dispute.
