Nigerians blow hot, drag popular actress for insulting Africans on live video

– Nigerians are dragging actress Juliet Ibrahim for her comments on Canadian rapper Tory Lanez’s Instagram live session on Thursday, April 9

– Juliet joined the lives session and made comments that were demeaning to the people of the continent

– Nigerians on Twitter have called the actress different names, and some of them are wondering why she made such comments

– Some also pointed out Juliet’s inconsistency for dropping her business handle in Tory’s comment section after suggesting that Africans were beggars

Nigerians on a micro-blogging site, Twitter, are displeased with Juliet Ibrahim’s comments about Africans on Tory Lanez’s Instagram live session on Thursday, April 9.

The actress joined the Canadian rapper’s live session to make a series of comments about Africans, all of which Twitter users found demeaning.

Juliet commented on the live session that if it was an African artiste that went live, bank account details would have flooded the comment section.

The actress did not stop there, one of her comments also suggested that Africans were starving when she said people of the continent needed milk to feed.

Some of those that expressed their displeasure over Juliet’s comments pointed out her inconsistency for dropping her business handle in the comment section after suggesting that Africans were beggars.

In other news, Nigerians were disappointed after Burna Boy mocked them over the office of the accountant general that got burnt in Abuja. Burna Boy said that Nigerians deserve everything they are going through.

Well, this didn’t seem to go down well with many social media users and they held no words back in express their outrage, disgust and some, disappointment over the now controversial video.

According to them, considering Nigerians were his biggest fans, he had no right to mock them especially when they were the ones that made him the star that he is today. They tagged him prideful and insensitive to the struggles of Nigerians.

Burna Boy who has since deleted the controversial video from his Instagram page, earned the not-so-flattering title, “Ikorodu Lucky Dube” given to him by internet users.

A Twitter user shared a lengthy post off a lady who explained why she was angry at the music star and why she would no longer be spending any money on his music.
