 Five pastors arrested for allegedly flouting lockdown in Ebonyi lindaikejisblog

Five Pastors were arrested by the Ebonyi State COVID-19 Taskforce on Sunday April 26, for flouting the lockdown order issued by the state government following the outbreak of Coronavirus. 

Those arrested in Afikpo North and Ohaukwu local government areas of the state include Pastors of Dynamic Faith Church, Church of Christ Agbaba, Ascension Church Agbaba, Methodist Church, Otuokpeye and Methodist Church in Ndegu-Eshi.

The clerics who have been handed over to the DPO of Ohaukwu Division for prosecution, will be arraigned on Monday April 27. They were arrested after the taskforce officials were alerted. 

It was further gathered that the Pastor of a Pentecostal church located in a school building at Amike-Abba in Ebonyi Local Government Area, ran away alongside his members after sighting members of the COVID-19 task force team.
