Adamawa records 7 new Coronavirus cases

The Adamawa state government has recorded  7 new cases of Coronavirus. This was confirmed on Monday May 4, by Secretary to the Adamawa State Government, Malam Bashir Ahmad who is also the state chairman of COVID-19 Containment Committee.

While five of the new cases are direct contacts of the first case in Mubi, the other is from Lamurde, an Adamawa town and local government area on the Adamawa-Gombe border. The last case is an escapee from Gombe State.

The SSG who disclosed that Mubi is the epicenter of the virus in Adamawa State, said the new cases brings the total number of confirmed cases in the state to 12.
