Nigerian man who schooled abroad shares photos from his Zoom graduation ceremony

The Coronavirus pandemic has changed life as we know it and the way people celebrate their achievements.

Most events which used to be done with people physically present are now being done virtually.

For a Nigerian man who went to school abroad, the graduation he had was different from what he had imagined it would be.

Rather than a graduation ceremony held at school with his coursemates present, he had a graduation over Zoom.

The graduand, his coursemates and staff of the school had to connect to a Zoom video call where they held their graduation ceremony.

The graduand had on his graduation gown as he sat in front of his personal computer for the Zoom call.

After the Zoom graduation, he had his photos taken. Unfortunately, he couldn’t pose with his coursemates as people do during graduations.

Sharing photos from his graduation ceremony, he wrote: “Class of 2020 graduating… on Zoom.”
