Ondo state records first COVID-19 death

Ondo state has recorded its first COVID-19 death.

The state Commissioner for Health, Dr Wahab Adegbenro, who disclosed this to newsmen, said the patient died in the early hours of today Monday May 11 at the Infectious Disease Hospital on Igbatoro Road in Akure, the state capital. 

Currently, 15 cases of COVID19 have been recorded in Ondo state. Six out of the 15 have tested negative and have been discharged from the Isolation center while eight are under treatment.
