Call of Duty coaches poll: Toronto Ultra end season on a high note

Oh, Canada! The Toronto Ultra capped off the Call of Duty League’s regular season by winning their own home series.

Of course, all the CDL teams competing this weekend weren’t actually in Toronto but rather playing online, but imagine what a scene that would have been to end the season. It was the culmination of steady improvement by an Ultra team with wins in seven of their last nine matches and a semifinal appearance at the New York home series. This late-season run also included two wins over the Atlanta FaZe, including one in Sunday’s home series final.

Now, the Ultra and every other CDL team will turn their attention to the Call of Duty League 2020 Championship, aka Champs. After picking up 50 CDL points with their home series win, Toronto avoided starting Champs in the losers bracket and will face London in their opening winners bracket matchup. Dallas and Atlanta’s strong efforts this past weekend ensured that they both enter Champs as the top two seeds and will get byes for the first two rounds.

So how did the coaches around the league make sense of the results from the CDL’s final home series of the year? Below is how they think the teams stack up. The ranking was determined based on an aggregate of votes from participating coaches.
