Team Liquid’s CoreJJ wins LCS MVP

Team Liquid support player Jo “CoreJJ” Yong-in has been named MVP of the League of Legends Championship Series summer split, the LCS announced Friday.

CoreJJ beat out nine other candidates, including Team SoloMid mid laner Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg, who placed second in voting. This is CoreJJ’s second MVP title, making him the second player to win multiple LCS MVP awards — Bjergsen has four.

CoreJJ’s win means Team Liquid took home Coaching Staff of the Split, Rookie of the Year and Summer Split MVP honors, sweeping the available hardware.
