Sporadic shooting by some political thugs had been recorded at a section of Ondo State in the ongoing governorship election.
The shooting took place at Polling Unit 11, Oke-Ijebu, Akure, the state capital.
The police confirmed the incident, saying officers had been deployed to the scene to restore orderliness and continuity of the election.
