DeAndre Hopkins shows great hands, fancy footwork to put Cardinals on the board

GLENDALE, Ariz. — It didn’t matter how tightly Seattle Seahawks cornerback Quinton Dunbar was covering Arizona Cardinals wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins on third-and-2 from Seattle’s 35 with 2 minutes, 45 seconds left in the first quarter Sunday night at State Farm Stadium. Hopkins was going to make a play.

Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray took the snap in shotgun, with Hopkins the lone receiver to his left. Murray threw it about 40 yards in the air toward the sideline, just over the streaking Hopkins’ left shoulder. Hopkins hauled in his third touchdown catch of the season with ease to pull the Cardinals within 10-7, showing nifty footwork to catch the ball, get both feet in bounds and get in the end zone.

It was a perfect throw by Murray, followed by an effortless catch by Hopkins.
