Why I bought the Lil Nas X ‘Satan Shoes’

In partnership with the art collective MSCHF, singer Lil Nas X created a pair of pricey – $1,018 (£740) – and controversial trainers.

MSCHF only produced 666 pairs of the shoes, which include a drop of human blood in the soles. Made using modified Nike Air Max 97s, they sold out in less than a minute.

The BBC spoke to two people on why they bought these pricey shoes.
