Kano Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is seen in a video on Twitter inaugurating a car wash amid wild jubilation by the people present.
The video which was posted by a Twitter user, Harrison (@harrisonmbamara) shows the governor using a pump to wash a car, as cheers and Hausa song blared in the background.
The video attracted criticisms from Twitter users who expressed shock and disappointment at Ganduje.
Harrison posted the picture on Thursday, with a tweet, “Meanwhile in #Kano State, the Governor just commissioned/launched a car wash with heavy celebrations.”
The video has gone viral on other social media platforms including YouTube.
