Red crabs swarm across roads and bridges in Australia

Tens of millions of red crabs have covered roads and bridges on Christmas Island as they undertake their annual migration.

The crabs are travelling from the forest to the coast to spawn, the migration beginning shortly after the first rainfall of the wet season.
