Germany: African diaspora with ‘a voice’ in politics

A new coalition government is set to take over Germany.

Saliou Gueye, a mayor, and Mirabelle Mayack, a member of the CDU political party, are amongst the one million people of African descent living in the country.

They spoke to the BBC’s Nicolas Negoce about how they hope their voices can build relations between Germany and Africa.
