Almost 300 people, including women and children, have been rescued from a migrant boat off the Italian island of Lampedusa.
Video filmed by the Italian coastguard shows them pulling people from the water and carrying others to safety from the boat itself.
Italy has seen a sharp increase in migrant boats in its waters in recent weeks.
